Dining With Gus Modern

Gus Modern is back under the spotlight this month with their Dine With Gus sale. With a 20% discount across several pieces of wares and furnishing, now is a great time to start putting together the dining room you've always wanted.

Plank Dining Table and Bench With Thompson Chair

Gus Modern has a simple and clean aesthetic that's inherent in all of their pieces, and their dining tables are no exception. The Plank Dining Table ($1,160) and Bench ($460) is a perfect example of this; their minimalistic design allows the wood grain to be the main decorative element of the two. The Stanley Dining Table ($1,276) and Stanley Dining Bench ($540) are also very minimal but is lighter in color, and feature stainless steel legs for those who prefer a touch of metal.

Stanley Dining Table Set With School Chairs

Of course, what's a dining set without additional seating for the guests? Gus's Thompson Chairs ($400) in black complements the dark walnut colors of the Plank perfectly. The Stanley has a matching set of Stools ($319.20) but Gus's School Chairs ($236) in natural wood work just as well.

Bathurst Cabinet 2 Door Slide Unit

Finally, don't forget to check out Gus's wooden cabinets while you're in the market. The Bathurst Cabinet 2 Door Slide Unit ($1,356) can be used to store pantry goods, plastic utensils, napkins, and whatnot. Big Ideas For Small Spaces

Gus Modern Stanley Console Table
Urban living space is a rare commodity, and if you live in a major city like New York, chances are good that your home feels like you're living in a shoebox. Thankfully, there are ways to make the most of what you've got. We have some great home decor solutions for tight spaces that will make even the least roomiest of homes warm and cozy.

Gus Modern Bishop Table

Gus Modern has done an outstanding job of designing furniture that takes its surrounding spaces into consideration.

The Stanley Console Table ($575) provides a comfortable place to put functional and decorative objects without feeling like it takes up the entire room. The Bishop Table ($335) shares this same concern for spatial openness with its simple and clean-cut design. If you're looking for seating, the luxurious Delano Lounge Chair ($795 - $895) features that same open-space design.

Omni+ Orbit Media Center
Omni+ has some excellent solutions if you're in the market to find a place to keep your electronics. The Orbit Media Center ($499) provides plenty of room for a media player and a TV while keeping spaces feeling open with its elevated height. The Prism ($499) stays on ground level but manages to not detract from whatever limited spaces you may have.

temahome has a few interesting selections that may pique your curiosity as well. The Double Delta Bookshelf ($592) features a minimalistic design that leaves plenty of breathing room. The Prairie 47 Coffee Table ($620) and Prairie Niche 22 ($615) both have that same open-space aesthetic that are characteristic of the Gus Modern selections mentioned above.
The Ledge by Urbancase
Urbancase is the maker of the cleverly-designed workstation called The Ledge ($1,500). This was a GQ Favorite at the ICFF, and it's not hard to see why: the sturdy wall-mounted shelf/work surface looks great on any wall, and is a great piece for any small living spaces. It is the perfect fusion of function and form.

GUEST POST: Mrs. Lilien from Mrs. Lilien Styling House

This month, we have the pleasure to post an article written by Mrs. Lilien, purveyor of playful sophistication and author of Mrs. Lilien Styling House. Mrs. Lilien applauds luxury, adores visual drama and delights in the good life. For this month's post, Mrs. Lilien has hand-picked a candy-coated home goods selection for her summertime patio- all from Bobby Berk Home! Break out the mimosas and enjoy the sunshine!

Check back often for more blog posts from esteemed members of our design community- posted the first of every month!

What's a summer patio without a posted planter explosion?! Or perhaps a collection of potted pretties to cause a glorious commotion?! Call in a daybed that's saturated in brilliant sunbrella color - and don't forget the punchy printed perches so quintessential to summer! Whether your space is large and poolside or perhaps rather intimately quaint - why not create an outdoor utopia that's happy and unrestrained?! With just a little love and some garden bling - you can transform your patio and really make it sing!
